Weekly Quote 7

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy - (Ex 20:8)

I RETURN IN THANKSGIVING TO THE SOURCE OF MY ACHIEVEMENT

Most successful people begin each day by prioritising their tasks. As a result they usually accomplish what they set out to do. They may feel tired at the end of the day but hardly ever exhausted because they are energised by a healthy satisfaction with their achievements. The general secret of success is to work diligently to create a finished product that you have first conceived in the mind, and then express joy in your work.

Our whole life is like a day. All that we achieve by application of mental and physical power has its origin inwardly, firstly as thought and ultimately in Spirit. As much as our fatigued body requires refreshment through nourishment and sleep, so do we inwardly need to reconnect with Spirit through prayer of thanksgiving and contemplation of the perfection of all creation.

Our period of rest and thanksgiving, our Sabbath, completes a Divine cycle in us and fulfils us as His expressions.
